Yes, the island dubbed Pearl of the Pacific has its Pearl Resort! Honeymooners and romantic travellers love this hotel for its very special Polynesian décor and atmosphere.
 
It opened in 1998 on Motu Tevairoa, set in 47 peaceful acres between the lagoon and the ocean beyond the reef. Pearl designed 80 air conditioned bungalows, 50 overwater and lagoonside, 10 on the beach and incorporating private jacuzzis and 20 very popular and delightfully private garden villas, each with a little plunge pool.

A quality restaurant, the Tevairoa, has splendid views over the lagoon and is open for breakfast and dinner. The Teavanui is the poolside alternative. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are dance show nights.

More attractive points:
• Overall concept is very Polynesian
• Feeling of space in a top quality large lagoon and beach site
• Boat transfer to/from the airport is quick at 6 minutes
• Spacious beach and garden bungalows with private secluded areas

Overwater bungalow
The glass bedside tables and the glass coffee table in the center of the room enable guests to admire the colorful underwater life of the lagoon. Large sized outdoor terraces with lounge chairs offer magnificent views of the Otemanu mountain.
Premium Overwater Bungalow
The Overwater Bungalows classified as "Premium" have the best views of both the mountain directly opposite and the surrounding lagoon.
